Here's some information on the Sustainable Concordia BBQ to take place this Monday on the terrace of the Hall Building. I will be hosting a table on behalf of TAPthirst. If you are interested in helping out or stopping by to check things out, please don't hesitate to come! There is contact information at the bottom of the page if you are interested in volunteering.

SUSTAINABLE CONCORDIA SPRING BBQ
Monday, May 3rd 2010 ~ 12pm ~ Hall Building Terrace
Come celebrate the end of another school year at Concordia and the launch of the summer semester! Sustainable Concordia’s Coordinators and Board of Directors cordially invite all campus community members to join us on the Hall Building Terrace from 12pm on for food, activities and music. We’ll also give an update on what we’ve been up to this past year and share our plans for the summer. As always, your ideas for how to make Concordia a more sustainable university are most welcome. No RSVP needed, bring a friend or colleague!
ACTIVITIES
Mural Making – add your vision for a more Sustainable Concordia.
Scavenger Hunt – hunt around the downtown campus for clues to sustainability. Starting at 1pm.
Plant Sale – pick up a petunia or a pot of fresh coriander! Grown locally in our Rooftop Greenhouse.
One Sided Notebook Sale – pick up an eco-friendly notebook for all your important ideas. Various sizes available at unbeatable prices!
Book Sale – get started on your summer sustainability reading with a great selection from the Co-op Bookstore!
Bike Repair Demonstration – Get the basics from Right to Move mechanics. Starting at 1pm.
Explore Water Issues with TAPthirst Concordia and find out how you can take action to protect our H2O.
Meet and Greet – chat one on one with our coordinators about program activities and ways to get involved and collaborate!
